Tips to Remember:
  • QuickBooks Database Server Manager (QBDBMS) establishes Network Data files & store the company file on the host. To use multiple versions of QuickBooks, you are recommended to install each version of the QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
  • Installing multiple versions of QuickBooks Database Server Manager doesn’t mean that user will endow the multiple version of the software. However, it simply means that it will allow the user only multiple versions of processes.
  • While using the multiple versions of QuickBooks, the QuickBooks Database Server Manager will install in a chronological order from the oldest to newest.

Steps to Install QuickBooks Database Server Manager:

  • Perform double click on the installer for QuickBooks & start the Wizard installation.
  • Possibly, the computer has the access to internet & the user is able to download an update, simply click on the Next. However, if the computer has no internet connect then, simply click on No, & click the Next.
  • Close all the running programs on the computer and click the Next.

  • Select the Custom or Network Options.

Update the Database Server Manager
