• In the File menu, hit the “Add/Remove Snap-in”.
• Hit on the “Add” => “Add/Remove Snap-in”.
• In the “Add Standalone Snap-in”, perform double-click on the “Group Policy Object Editor”.
• Click on the Browse and browse to the Group Policy object (GPO) that you want to modify.
• Later, hit the “OK” and then, click the “Finish” icon.
• Hit the “Close”.
• Click the “OK” icon.
• Expand the Group Policy Object [ComputerName] Policy in the console tree.
• Hit onto the “Computer Configuration”.
• Select the “Windows Settings”.
• Select the “Security Settings” => “Local Policies”.
• Hit the “User Rights Assignment”.
• In the detail option, perform double-click on the “Log on as a service”.
• Choose the “Define these policy settings” checkbox. Only if the security settings are not defined.
• Perform click on the “Add User or Group” icon.
• Later, you possess the Log on as a service right.

 

Solution 2:

1. Reboot the system and start the installation process again.
2. Temporarily disable or stop the anti-virus or anti-spyware software. Later, start the installation process.

• In the System Configuration windows, select the “Restart” tab.

• Save the downloaded file in the local desktop.
• Make sure that you double-click on the QuickBooksDesktopInstallDiagnosticTool.exe while closing an open program.
